This work is dedicated to the women who
seek and find evidence of GOD in their everyday experiences.

     One morning in July of 2001 I was reading one of the Women of Faith devotional books when I felt God speaking to me in my heart about a similar ministry for the women of First Baptist Church.

     Since that exciting moment, I have been in prayer, shared with a few friends and family, and asked for prayers waiting for God’s timing and direction for this ministry.  Through this book God has shown to me and hopefully to you, the wonderful women of faith in Mexico and in First Baptist Church.  These women of faith have wonderful life experiences to share with you of how God touches them daily.

     While I was in prayer about this ministry God provided me with the name for this compilation of devotions.  While sitting quietly my mind wandered and wondered about how God is evident everyday and I realized that was the name – “Everyday Evidence.”  We should not be waiting for a burning bush experience, but be aware that He is with us every moment of every day.

     My hope is that through these devotionals you are drawn closer to our Heavenly Father and you seek Him daily.  He is already there just waiting for you to be aware of Him and to join Him.

   Everyday Evidence Update 

The response to this little green book has been overwhelming!  God has opened doors and avenues for His glory to be revealed to us in the amazing and the ordinary.  I have heard many wonderful testimonies of how the book has touched hearts, and how opportunities to share the book with others came into being not only in our community, but also throughout our state and country.  This book has been sent to Kansas City and St. Louis and most points in between; it has also traveled to many other states including Tennessee, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Arizona and Idaho.  God is so awesome in inviting us to join His work to spread His word for His glory!  If anyone has a story of how Everyday Evidence touched him or her or how it was used to witness to others we would love for you to share those with us.  Please send your story to Jennifer Silver in care of First Baptist Church.
